Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values saved by a website in your browser. Local storage and session storage are other ways a website can remember information. This page describes storage used for the public website’s interface; account portals can also use storage needed for sign-in and sessions.
Remembering the introductory animation
The homepage saves a local-storage value called ep-hero-played to remember that its introductory animation has played. The website does not set an automatic expiry for this value. It can remain until you clear site storage or your browser removes it.
Page-loading transitions
The site uses a session-storage value called elephant:loading-transition to coordinate a page-loading transition. The loading code reads and removes this value. Session storage is also subject to your browser’s session behavior.
Hosting and fonts
Netlify hosts this website. Some existing pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Loading an external resource involves a network request to the provider; a network request is not necessarily a cookie. The new information pages use system fonts.
Analytics and advertising tools
The current website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, a separate email-marketing platform, or live chat. Adding a new feature or provider may change the technologies involved; this notice will need to reflect that change.
Manage browser storage
Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block, or delete storage for elephantpays.com and its subdomains. Clearing the animation preference may cause the animation to play again. Clearing account storage can sign you out. Browser controls do not replace any additional rights you may have under applicable law.
